Integrated into the Ecobank Mobile App, the service allows users to scan a QR code and make payments instantly, removing the need for cash or physical cards. Already active in supermarkets, retail shops, and small businesses across Monrovia, EcobankPay is streamlining how consumers and vendors exchange value.

By reducing reliance on cash, the platform is expected to improve transaction transparency, strengthen tax compliance, and lower the risks associated with handling physical money. It also opens up new opportunities for small and informal businesses to join the formal financial system, access credit, and grow sustainably.
